Luke van der Rijt is owner of Uranquinty Pharmacy and Southcity Pharmacy in Wagga Wagga, which was the winner of the 2018 Guild Pharmacy of the Year.  Luke's career started in the Central Coast of NSW, where he worked for various pharmacies and managed Thredbo Village Pharmacy in 2008. He then worked for the Chemist Warehouse Group and Bronte Pharmacy in Sydney. Since 2014, Luke has owned and operated Southcity Pharmacy, where he has led business improvements and embedded professional services, leading to widespread health benefits across the entire region through partnerships and consultation with health services and specialists. Luke is a member of the Clinical Council in the local Primary Health Network, where he sits on numerous committees with local healthcare professionals to provide health solutions to the Riverina area. Luke is also a Branch Committee member of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s NSW Branch and a member of the NSW Scope of Practice subcommittee.
