Emma McBride is the Federal Member of Parliament for the electorate of Dobell, Shadow Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Shadow Assistant Minister for Carers. Emma has worked in the health sector for over 20 years. She was the Chief Pharmacist at Wyong Hospital, and prior to her election to Parliament was the Deputy Director of Pharmacy for the Central Coast Local Health District. Emma’s background in the health sector provides a unique platform to promote better health services for her local area and the broader community. She hopes to help shape public policy that recognises the increased role pharmacists and other allied health professionals can play in a more responsive and efficient health system.
