Tony has a long history of working as a hospital pharmacist and is a Fellow of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia. He is currently working as a Clinical Pharmacist at the Gold Coast Interdisciplinary Persistent pain Centre in Robina and as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences at Queensland University of Technology, teaching pharmacotherapeutics to student pharmacists and future Non-Medical Prescribers. Tony is the author of over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles as well as a book chapter on fentanyl-based opioid analgesics. He is currently conducting research into the management of Persistent Pain and has a particular interest in the role of opioid analgesics, antiepileptic analgesic adjuncts, and the possible role of cannabinoids in pain management.
