Rob Elliot is the Head of Operations ANZ for Viatris, with responsibility for Viatris’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Queensland, one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in Australia. The facility is capable of manufacturing over 3 billion doses of high-quality medicine for Australia and 40-plus export markets and has recently been upgraded to add high-speed automated manufacturing lines that will secure the supply of critical medicines. Prior to this, Rob was Vice President of Manufacturing for APAC at Mylan, where he oversaw the integration of the Australian and Japanese manufacturing facilities into Mylan. Rob began his career with Alphapharm over 39 years ago in product development and has worked across quality, manufacturing and plant management. Rob has a passion for developing pharmaceutical manufacturing in Australia and bringing forward the next group of leaders in the field.
