With the current wave of the Omicron COVID strain spreading throughout Australia, we want to assure all attendees that making APP COVID safe is our number one priority. We are working closely with our venues and suppliers to protect the health and wellbeing of the pharmacy community.

We understand how important face-to-face education and networking is to pharmacists and the wider industry - in 2021, APP was the largest face-to-face event held in the southern hemisphere.

The latest COVID-19 virus modelling shows that the peak of the Omicron variant in Queensland will be late January, with the peak in New South Wales and Victoria occurring sooner. Governments at all levels, who are encouraging Australians to continue to participate in and attend events, are confident that the Omicron variant will be well under control by March.

We are working hard to ensure that APP2022 is COVID safe and are putting in place all the necessary measures to ensure everyone remains safe.
