There are a million and one ways that pharmacy assistants can enjoy APP2021 next week. Pharmacy assistants are encouraged to not miss out by booking their free registration to the sold-out trade exhibition or enjoying reduced registration prices to access the comprehensive four-day educational program featuring over 100 industry, business, clinical and motivational speakers.

Kos Sclavos AM, APP Convenor and former Guild National President, encouraged pharmacy assistants to come to APP, network and share their experiences together after what was an unprecedented 2020.

“From a keynote address by The Hon Greg Hunt MP, Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care, to the famous Street Party to bumping elbows with legendary sporting stars - APP2021 has it all for pharmacy assistants!”

“Attendees will get to meet the 2020 and 2019 Pharmacy Guild of Aus
tralia/Maxigesic Pharmacy Assistant of the Year (PATY) Award National Winners, Benjamin King and Brianne Lowe, at a special information session on Friday 21 May.”
“Benjamin and Brianne will be sharing their very different experiences from 2020 and how the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic affected them.”

“They’ll also be providing tips on how pharmacy assistants could become a 2021 PATY State Finalist, State Winner or National Winner.”

“Pharmacy assistants can also enjoy the jam-packed social program, which includes the welcome reception and famous street party. Welcome Reception access is free for pharmacy assistants, so ensure you make the most of this opportunity to network with suppliers while enjoying dinner and drinks.”

“They also have access to the sold-out trade exhibition to get the latest supplier and exhibitor updates and freebies. Registration for the trade exhibition is free.”

APP is Australia's largest pharmacy conference and trade show and takes place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre next week on 20-23 May 2021. Mr. Sclavos also said the organisers had moved to ensure attendees to APP could purchase their tickets to with certainty.

“We’ve also acted to give pharmacy assistants certainty around any disruptions to plans that may come out of COVID-19. If attendees can’t travel due to COVID-19, they’re able to get full refunds,” Mr. Sclavos said.

“We’re excited to see you next week. I’d hate for any pharmacy assistants to miss out the fantastic program, sold-out trade and networking opportunities. If you haven’t already, view the APP program and book your APP2021 registration at”
