Special conference accommodation rates have been negotiated with a selection of hotels and apartments within close proximity to the conference venue. To obtain the discounted rates offered below, accommodation should be booked through the official conference accommodation booking agent, Organisers Australia.

As this is a peak period for travel to the Gold Coast, you should consider booking your accommodation early. All rooms will be released from sale on 9 February 2010. Organisers Australia will accept accommodation bookings after this date, but cannot guarantee that accommodation will be available at the conference hotels/apartments or at the conference preferred room rates.

(50m to GCCEC)
Located in the heart of Broadbeach, Meriton Serviced Apartments offer brand new contemporary built apartments only a block away from surf beaches, 50 metres from the Gold Coast Convention Centre and Jupiters Casino, or a short leisurely stroll to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Resort-style facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa, sauna, gymnasium and outdoor resort deck with pool. Guests will be required to show proof of ID on arrival.  Car parking is limited but and is available on a first in first served basis.  Cost of parking is $10 per day. No minimum nights stay required. All credit cards are welcome. Light service daily including beds made, fresh towels and removal of rubbish. Full service weekly.

Only minutes from Conrad Jupiters and GCCEC, these luxury apartments are located within 250 metres of the beach in the heart of the restaurant precinct of Broadbeach. Guest facilities include heated pool and spa, BBQ facilities, two full-sized flood-lit tennis courts, billiards, gym and sauna. Rooms are serviced weekly only. All accommodation is required to be fully prepaid. Minimum stay of three nights is required. Mastercard and Visa credit cards only.

This resort is located in the heart of Broadbeach, only a short distance across the highway from GCCEC. Full resort facilities include tennis court, heated pool, spa, saunas and BBQs set in landscaped grounds. All accommodation is required to be fully prepaid. Minimum stay of three nights is required. TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payments & Deposits (Conrad Jupiters, Sofitel, Crown Plaza and Meriton Apartments)
In order to secure a reservation, all accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum deposit of one (1) night's room rate. The deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked. Please make deposit cheques payable to “Organisers Australia”.

Payments & Deposits (Belle Maison & South Pacific Plaza)

In order to secure a reservation, all accommodation bookings must be accompanied by the full amount of accommodation booked. Please make deposit cheques payable to “Organisers Australia”.

If payment is made by credit card, no monies will be deducted by Organisers Australia, however your credit card details will be forwarded to your chosen accommodation venue as security for your booking. If the credit card is in the name of a person other than yourself, it will be necessary for the cardholder to complete the payment summary on the booking form. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the accommodation venue.

Cancellation Policies
Conrad Jupiters:  All rooms cancelled between Saturday 6 February and Monday 8 March 2010, including no shows, will incur a 100% cancellation fee

Sofitel Gold Coast: All rooms cancelled within 14 days of the conference will incur a cancellation fee equal to one (1) night’s accommodation for every room cancelled

Crowne Plaza:  For all rooms cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the cancellation fee will be the full amount of the booking

Meriton Apartments:  For all rooms cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the cancellation fee will be the full amount of the booking.

Belle Maison & South Pacific Plaza: Cancellations outside of 30 days prior to arrival attract a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations 30 days or less prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of $200 deposit.

Organisers Australia will not take any responsibility for cancellations or no-shows.

Changes and Cancellations
All changes to or cancellations of reservations must be notified to Organisers Australia in writing either via email krys@orgaus.com.au or to PO Box 1380, Palm Beach QLD 4221 at least 24 hours prior to you nominated arrival date. DO NOT notify the accommodation venue directly.

Pre Authorisation of Incidental Charges
It is common hotel policy to request that each guest provide a credit card on arrival to cover incidentals or damage to hotel or apartments. This is classified as a "Credit Card Pre Authorisation" and permits the hotel/apartment to freeze an amount of money against your credit card to cover incidentals.

Conrad Jupiters:  Upon check-in, guests will be requested to present either a credit card for authorisation or a $200 refundable cash bond for any incidental charges

Sofitel Gold Coast: A credit card imprint or a $100 cash deposit will be required upon check-in to cover incidentals

Crowne Plaza:  A credit card imprint or a $100 cash deposit will be required upon check-in to cover incidentals

Meriton Apartments:  Credit card pre-authorisation of $100 for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment, $200 for a 2 bedroom, or $300 for a 3 bedroom or penthouse apartment is required. Customers paying cash will be required to pay a cash bond of $200 for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment or $500 for a 2, 3 or penthouse apartment.  Funds will be refunded to your credit card after your departure but may take 5 to 10 working days to become available.

Belle Maison & South Pacific Plaza: Credit card pre-authorisation of $200 per apartment is required. Funds will be refunded to your credit card on departure after apartment has been checked.

Airline Bookings

Coolangatta Airport services the Gold Coast with regular direct flights from most capital cities. The airport is 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre and Broadbeach accommodation. Alternatively Brisbane Airport is just a one hour drive to Broadbeach.
